Portal Dashboards

The SmartSolve Portal is a group of related web pages that is hosted by the SmartSolve suite of applications. Most web sites have a home page as their starting point. The home page is interconnected with other pages by using hyperlinks and contains administration, search, and browsing permissions to divide site content into distinct, separately manageable sites.

The Portal Page can display lists of information, enabling team members to organize the information any way they want, such as by subject, due date, or owner, etc. For example, you can do the following:

Filter the content to see only the set of information that applies to you.
Hide information that doesn't interest you.
Change the order in which the information is listed.
Set up customized views to make it easy for your team members to focus quickly on pertinent information.

A dashboard is a unique workspace that an administrator can create, that provides team members with collaboration tools and services for collaboration on SmartSolve records. A dashboard can contain lists of quality records, such as documents, audits, etc. as well as offer the end user quick searches for full text searching and meta data queries. To create a dashboard, a user must be granted the appropriate rights.

Training Management Default Dashboard

Dashboard	Description
Certification Sign-off	Displays all items related to the logged in user's certification.
Manager Workspace	Displays all items related to review and approval of persons who report to the logged in manager. This dashboard also includes the manager's personal items for certification so the logged in manager can access all of their items in one place.
Trainer Workspace	Displays all items related to trainings under the trainer's coordination. This dashboard also includes the trainer's personal items for certification so the logged in trainer can access all of their items in one place.
